Alise Indriksone

Spring/Summer 2010

The freedom of feelings, suppleness and harmony with her inner world, no extravagances, just substantiated pomp, grace and nobility...

Shades ranging from beige, silver, bronze to royal blue and black.

Inspiration comes from the female beauty standards sought for centuries, starting with the ideal European lady of the sixteenth century and going over to the beauty queen in the African culture, Keith Moss and the top models. All these ideals are so different and unique, but the substance of this phenomenon is always the same – the charm of woman's personality.

The experiments with draperies and diversity of silhouettes aim at making every woman feel that she is the one and the only irrespective of any standards imposed by the society.

Alise Indriksone (1983) has studied fashion design both independently and with well-known designers in Latvia and abroad, and this is the second collection she presents to the broad public. The collection is made of high quality prêt-a-porter and haute couture fabrics.
